IMF Tune v7 won't Support MS SQL 2000

IMF Tune v6 still supports the venerable Microsoft SQL 2000 server version. As from the next IMF Tune release, this will no longer be the case.

MS SQL is used as the backend for the IMF Tune Quarantine/Reporting interface. IMF Tune v6 supports all versions from SQL 2000 to 2012. This also includes the free SQL Express editions.

IMF Tune v7 is dropping SQL 2000 support to facilitate the support of newer MS SQL releases.

Version 7 is still a few months away from final release. So this is a good time for you to plan migrating the database to a newer version if necessary. For details on how to do this check:
Moving the Quarantine Database to New Hardware

Note: Even though the article discusses moving the database to new hardware, it also applies to the case when the database is moved to a different MS SQL server on the same machine.
