IMF Tune v4.2 Fix for Malformed Email Header Problem

IMF Tune build 4.2.102.08 is now available for download. This includes a fix for a problem identified in our previous build 4.2.011.08.

The problem may be triggered by a malformed email header that causes IMF Tune to fail processing. In IMF Tune v4.2 for Exchange 2007 the email would go through unfiltered. In IMF Tune v4.2 for Exchange 2003 the problem may cause the SMTP transport service to restart.

Upgrading

We recommend IMF Tune v4 users to upgrade to the latest build. IMF Tune v4 users should apply the upgrade directly over their currently installed v4 build.

Version Information

This information applies to IMF Tune v4.2 build number 4.2.102.08. If IMF Tune is already installed you can verify the current build number from the configuration. In earlier IMF Tune versions the build number was available under the WinDeveloper category. In later releases the build is available under the Miscellaneous category.
