IMF Tune - Bringing Back the Exchange Connection Filter
IMF Tune v3.0 Final ReleaseJuly 11, 2007 The release of IMF Tune v3.0 is now final! The build number is 3.0.107.02, and is now available as the default product download. This has been available for download for some days. Thus before downloading, it is best to verify the currently installed build from the configuration under WinDeveloper category. We want to thank the over 200 organizations who already deployed IMF Tune v3.0 in their live environment and helped us reach final release. We consider IMF Tune v3.0 to be a major advancement. The highly acclaimed Advanced Rules provide a completely new level of flexibility. Multiple conditions and Exceptions can be brought together to construct very selective email filtering rules. Many are already using these to create whitelists that only apply to specific mailboxes. Others are operating the new condition types to tackle foreign spam and to deal with the latest PDF spam wave. The Disk Maintenance email archive backup and deletion functionality is also being welcomed by many. IMF Tune is now able to keep control of disk consumption. Furthermore it provides a more effective way to manage multiple paths to archive directories and log files. Keyword Reporting is now exposing the internals of IMF Tune white/black list and rule processing. Try configuring a rule with multiple conditions. Keyword Reporting will show exactly the email content each of these conditions matched. Apart from the top features, it is also worth highlighting the improvements in sender white/black listing, the improved IMFTBak Backup/Restore tool and the new functionality in handling emails not processed by IMF.
