IMF Tune - Bringing Back the Exchange Connection Filter
IMF Tune for Exchange 2013 Builds MergedA new IMF Tune for Exchange 2013 build is available. This is build 6.1.108.31 and is intended to replace the various builds we currently provide for Exchange 2013. So far we were providing a different IMF Tune build for each of Exchange 2013 RTM, CU1 and CU2. This was problematic as an IMF Tune upgrade was required whenever an Exchange 2013 Cumulative Update was installed. With this release we are eliminating all these builds with a single build that supports all Exchange 2013 releases, as well as Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2007. A separate build is still provided for Exchange 2003. If running Exchange 2013 we recommend upgrading to this build immediately. Apart for handling all current Exchange 2013 releases, this build is better armed to work with new Exchange 2013 CUs that Microsoft may release in the future. There is nothing new for Exchange 2010, 2007 and 2003. Thus there is no need to upgrade if running any of these Exchange versions and IMF Tune build 6.1.103.11. UpgradingThe IMF Tune v6.1 server can be installed directly on top of IMF Tune v4/v5/v6 installations. This allows the installation to convert all configuration settings automatically. Earlier IMF Tune versions can be upgraded by uninstalling the older release and installing version 6.1 to the same disk location. For a detailed discussion of all possible upgrading/migration scenarios please refer to Upgrading/Migrating to IMF Tune v6.x. LicensingAll new IMF Tune licenses include 1 year Maintenance. No new license is required for IMF Tune v6.1 if currently running IMF Tune v6.x and one of these conditions is satisfied:
