IMF Tune - Bringing Back the Exchange Connection Filter
IMF Tune v4.0 for Exchange 2003/2007 BETAApr 23, 2008 IMF Tune v4.0 beta is now available for download. This replaces IMF Tune v3.5 beta that was released earlier this year. In all 3 different builds are available for each of Exchange 2003, Exchange 2007 64-bit and Exchange 2007 32-bit (see note below). This build includes a completely recoded configuration interface. The new interface looks a lot better, but the improvements do not stop there. To begin we addressed some highly requested issues such as dialog resizing and the sorting of list interfaces. So far IMF Tune tied a large number of settings to the SCL threshold configuration. An SCL range grouped together an email handling action, disk archiving, CSV logging and auto-replies. IMF Tune v4.0 breaks this functionality into four independent categories named, Email Handling, Archiving, Logging and Auto-Reply. Here you will find the same settings available in earlier releases. However these can now be configured independently. This equates to greater flexibility and simpler configurations. More improvements include a dedicated IP white/black list and the insertion of SCLs in legitimate emails. By popular demand IMF Tune v4.0 now allows the insertion of the SCL in the email subject and headers of whitelisted and SCL0 emails. For a better look at the new configuration check the IMF Tune screenshot pages. Note: The Exchange 2007 32-bit build is available for evaluation purposes only. As always, with the included IMFTBak.exe, moving IMF Tune from a test machine to the live server is a simple matter. Using this, the configuration is transferred by performing a backup at the source machine and a replication at the destination machine. Version InformationThis information applies to IMF Tune v4.0 build number 4.0.004.18. If IMF Tune is already installed you can verify the current build number from the configuration. In earlier IMF Tune versions the build number was available under the WinDeveloper category. In later releases the build is available under the Miscellaneous category.
