IMF Tune v7 BETA brings DNS Block, Allow Lists

We are pleased to announce the public availability of IMF Tune v7 BETA. Download this now to discover the improvements and new features included in this release.

The most significant addition in v7 is the support for DNS IP Block lists and DNS IP Allow lists. These are now fully integrated with the IMF Tune Quarantine and Reporting system allowing you to stay in control.

DNS IP List support is included in IMF Tune v7 for Exchange 2007, 2010 and 2013. As for Exchange 2003, we still recommend the native Exchange Connection Filter.

This release is our response to the many Exchange 2013 users missing the Connection Filter functionality. As from Exchange 2013, Connection Filtering is only available at the Edge server. This created a void for installations not running Edge.

As you can expect, IMF Tune enhances DNS IP filtering in a number of ways. Instead of just whitelisting/blacklisting emails, we can configure the filter to increment/decrement the current SCL rating. Emails may also be reviewed and released for delivery from the moderator if necessary. This is a great way to safely evaluate new DNS IP Lists.

So it's time to try IMF Tune v7! We are working on more features and your feedback is always welcome.
